Perfect Imperfections of Perovskites in Photovoltaic Applications

Join Us for an Exclusive ATHENA Talk: Perfect Imperfections of Perovskites in Photovoltaic Applications.
The ATHENA Series is thrilled to present an enlightening online session on “Perfect Imperfections of Perovskites in Photovoltaic Applications”, diving deep into the fascinating world of perovskite materials and their groundbreaking implications for solar energy technology.
About the Talk:
Perovskite materials have emerged as a game-changer in the realm of photovoltaics, offering remarkable efficiency and cost-effectiveness. However, their imperfections play a crucial role in their performance and long-term stability. This talk aims to unravel the complexities and beauty of these imperfections, providing insights into current research and future possibilities.
We are honored to have Professor Yen Hung Li from the University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, as our esteemed speaker. With extensive research and contributions to the field of photovoltaic technology, Professor Li brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this discussion.
Date and Time:
1st of March 2024, 12:00 PM Central European Time (CET)
Online – Zoom (Link to be provided upon registration)
How to Join:
The talk is open to all interested in the advancements of photovoltaic technology and sustainable energy solutions. To secure your spot, please register through our link: Registered participants will receive the Zoom link prior to the event.
Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights from a leading expert in the field and to engage in an enlightening discussion on the potential of perovskites in photovoltaic applications. The illusion of university equality

Gender balance in academia, especially in leadership positions is a challenge, that should be addressed. Athena European University has initiated a lot actions (round table discussions) on the issues and under its immediate plans is the building of its gender balance unit.
ATHENA Talks, is happy to contribute on this priority (we aim the 50% of the positions in leadership positions to be given to female colleagues), and hosts this Friday, 9th of February at 12:00 CET, Ms Mar Fernandez Cendon from the gender Balance unit of the University of Vigo (Spain). Mar will speak with us about: ‘The illusion of university equality: an approach to the gender gaps in academia’.
