Foresight is crucial in various fields, such as business, where it aids in strategic planning and risk management, and in governance, where it assists in policy-making and long-term societal planning. It combines elements of forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic analysis. The effectiveness of foresight relies on accurate data interpretation, understanding trends, and the capacity to envision possible future scenarios.
