University of Maribor and University of Orléans invite PhD students to the 1st International PhD Conference, entitled Green Transition: Advancing Academia’s Role in Sustainable Innovation.

In the face of climate change and environmental degradation, the imperative for a green transition has never been more pressing. Achieving sustainability requires a concerted effort across all sectors of society, with academia playing a pivotal role in driving innovative solutions. By conducting interdisciplinary research, educating future leaders, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders, academia can accelerate the green transition and pave the way for a more sustainable and resilient world.

This doctoral conference aims to bring together doctoral students from various disciplines and universities within ATHENA to explore academia’s crucial role in driving sustainable innovation towards a greener future. Join us in sharing your research, insights, and ideas on how academia can promote environmental sustainability.

Are you committed to contributing to a more sustainable future through your doctoral research? We invite you to join a gathering of doctoral students from various disciplines within the ATHENA network, aimed at discussing the role of innovative doctoral research in fostering a greener tomorrow. This international doctoral conference offers a platform to present your work, engage with fellow researchers from other European countries, and explore how your research is part of the broader movement towards environmental sustainability. It’s an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful dialogue on sustainable innovation in a thoughtful, collaborative setting.
