The ATHENA International Relations Office (IRO) meets regularly online to discuss upcoming opportunities for students and staff alike. We aim to help ATHENIANS to internationalize their learning path and their career through mobility opportunities. We offer a wide variety of Blended Intensive Programmes, Summer and Winter Schools, and staff mobility for teaching or training.
On 12th July and 13th July 2023, members of the ATHENA IRO and the work group on internationalization met face-to-face in Orléans, France. Through these two days, we had fruitful conversations regarding staff training, upcoming opportunities for teachers and researchers, our best BIP practices and the unification of our processes regarding virtual mobilities.
The partners met with the University of Orléans’ Rector and their local international offices to strengthen our ties.
Finally, because 14th July is the French National Holiday, we attended the celebrations, watched the fireworks over the Loire river and enjoyed the illumination of the Cathedral.
