From September 18th to 22nd, 2023, the 7th International Conference on Physics of
Two-Dimensional Crystals took place at the Maritim Hotel Plaza Tirana, Albania, organized by the Mediterranean Institute of Fundamental Physics (MIFP). The conference explored a diverse array of topics, including 2D materials, electronics, metamaterials, and more.
Throughout the event, speakers from Niccolò Cusano University of Rome hosted a series of ATHENA Group meetings in collaboration with local institutions. These meetings served as a platform where both ATHENA participants and local representatives from governmental and academic bodies came together. Their purpose was to nurture collaboration and explore shared initiatives, further promoting ATHENA for potential future partnerships.
