In honor of World Intellectual Property Day ATHENA counted all the patents granted to our partner universities.
During the last 5 years, ATHENA partner universities had been granted more than 350 patents.
Patents were granted to inventions in various fields: from medicine to mechanical engineering. The most common fields of innovation in ATHENA are Electrical engineering with more than 30, Computer Science with more than 50 patents and the most popular Mechanical engineering with more than 60 patents. The inventions were recognized at both national and international levels.
