The 2022 Annual Meeting of the Danube Rectors’ Conference took place at the University of Maribor, from 9 to 11 November 2022, where the participants discussed the main pillars of digital transformation in the light of the United Europe Green Deal, with a focus on resilience and recovery from the COVID-19 crisis. Among the areas of digitisation, emphasis was placed on European initiatives on big data and high-performance computing, as well as open access to knowledge for the European Higher Education and Research Area.
