ATHENA European University just kicked off hosting the 3rd ATHENA International Week, an event dedicated to academic growth, international networking, and the building of future collaborations. With 320 participants representing 78 universities worldwide, the event is full of knowledge and innovation. ATHENA members and partners such as Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, Hellenic Mediterranean University, University of Orléans, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, University of Maribor, VILNIUS TECH and the Polytechnic of Porto are also present.
Participants have the opportunity to enhance their essential skills for the modern academic and professional landscapes through sessions dedicated to the development of soft and digital skills. A major attraction for the week will also be the dynamic International University Fair. This interactive fair provides a platform for universities to showcase their programmes and build international partnerships. Additionally, several expert lectures in electronics will offer deep insights into the latest advancements in the field, attracting considerable interest and sparking lively discussions.
Beyond the academic sessions, ATHENA International Week offers a rich cultural programme that allows participants to immerse themselves in the local heritage of Chania. Participants will partake in a guided visit to the historic Venizelos House, a fascinating glimpse into the region’s cultural legacy. Tailored city tours will showcase the charm and history of Chania, providing memorable experiences and deeper connections among participants.
