This position is key for CUAS’s newly established Master’s program in Applied Data Science within the Department of Engineering & IT.

About the Position

The Professorship in Artificial Intelligence is designed to support the academic and professional development of students within the Applied Data Science Master’s program. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to both the academic curriculum and the research agenda of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver courses in Artificial Intelligence and related subjects.
  • Conduct research in AI, contributing to the department’s academic output.
  • Mentor and supervise students in their academic and research projects.
  • Collaborate with public institutions, businesses, and other academic entities to enhance the practical application of AI.

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and research in AI.
  • A strong publication record in reputable journals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
