Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS), associated partners of the ATHENA European University alliance, has recently announced an exciting opportunity for its students – 50 Google Career Scholarships are now available exclusively for members of the ATHENA alliance. These scholarships provide access to educational resources and opportunities aimed at enhancing students’ skills and employability.
This initiative is part of CUAS’s strategic collaboration with Google, initiated in 2023, positioning CUAS as the sole university in Austria authorised to deliver innovative learning opportunities through Google-affiliated courses.
Expanding Educational Horizons Through Google Scholarships
Students who avail themselves of these scholarships will access five specialised micro-credential courses offered via the online platform Coursera. These courses cover a range of vital skills for the modern workforce, including Data Analytics, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, IT Support, Project Management, and UX Design. Each course is designed to equip students with the essential tools needed to thrive in various professional environments, enhancing their marketability and job readiness.
CUAS Hosts Exclusive Google Analytics Bootcamp
In addition to the online courses, CUAS is also hosting a virtual Google Analytics Bootcamp on 8 June. This event, which is held entirely in German language, offers a chance for participants to earn the Google Analytics 4 Certificate, providing hands-on experience that is directly applicable in the workplace. Employers highly value such qualifications, and many students have successfully used this additional credential to secure jobs and internships, enhancing their CVs significantly.
A Testament to Strong Industry-Education Partnerships
This collaboration between CUAS and Google is a testament to the university’s commitment to the ATHENA alliance and its mission to provide top-tier educational opportunities that meet the demands of today’s industries. By investing in such partnerships and integrating cutting-edge technology and learning methodologies, CUAS enhances the educational experience for its students and contributes to setting a standard of excellence in higher education across Europe.
How can students benefit from these opportunities?
Students interested in one of the 50 scholarships for the micro-credentials should register via this form before 9 June (Sunday), 2024. The selection process is on a first-come-first-served basis.
