The School of Health at the Polytechnic University of Porto (IPP) is excited to announce the launch of a new and innovative Master’s program in Translational Health (MiTH Program). This program is designed to bridge the gap between basic research and its practical applications in healthcare, population health, and bioindustries.

About the MiTH Program

The MiTH Program embodies the principle of “from bench to bedside, and beyond and back,” emphasizing the importance of translating basic scientific research into tangible healthcare solutions. The program promotes multidisciplinary collaboration, adhering to the highest standards of scientific, ethical, academic, and professional quality. This approach is crucial for advancing translational health research and addressing global health challenges.

The program will be conducted within the RISE-Health @ TBIO (Center for Translational Health and Medical Biotechnology Research), with some courses offered through blended learning to accommodate both in-person and remote learners. The curriculum is taught in English, ensuring accessibility for international students, unless all participants are Portuguese speakers.
