The European Commission has introduced a series of initiatives aimed at transforming higher education. This policy package, consisting of three main initiatives, signals an important moment for us at ATHENA European University, especially given our role within the university alliances expected to pilot these changes. These initiatives include:
- The Blueprint for a European Degree
- European Quality Assurance and Recognition System
- Support for Sustainable and Attractive Academic Careers
As members of the ATHENA community, we can engage with these new directives to understand their impact and how we can contribute effectively. This effort demands collaboration across all levels of higher education governance within our community.
We invite everyone in the ATHENA community and our partners to familiarise themselves with these developments. It’s an opportunity for us to actively participate in shaping the future of higher education in Europe.
