If you’ve ever dreamed of mastering rapid prototyping techniques, this is your chance – join the Creativity in Engineering summer school MAKERS 5.0, organised by VILNIUS TECH Creativity and Innovation Centre “LinkMenų fabrikas”.
We invite beginner-level students to dive deeper into the world of 3D modeling, 3D printing, laser cutting, woodworking, CNC, and other cool technologies! We offer a two-week-long intensive course (one week fully online, packed with theoretical and practical workshops, teamwork, and other fun) and a fully on-site week in Vilnius, Lithuania, at the very creative workshops of VILNIUS TECH “LinkMenų fabrikas“.
Program Structure:
[ONLINE] June 1–5, 2026 – Online seminars, practical tasks, and team projects;
[ON-SITE] June 8-12, 2026 – Hands-on workshops at VILNIUS TECH “LinkMenų fabrikas” in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Candidate requirements:
- English proficiency (minimum B1 level in listening, speaking, reading, and writing);
- Student of product design, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a relevant field;
- Basic knowledge of rapid prototyping and product design;
- Ability to work in a team in a multicultural environment.
Certificate and ECTS
A certificate of participation will be given to each participant at the end of the school. 3 ECTS will be awarded to students who have participated in the entire programme.

Sign-up is open: till May 15th, 2026
2. Acceptance
Once you’ve submitted your application, please wait for our acceptance letter. If you are invited, the email from us will reach you after the sign-up is closed.
All applications are carefully reviewed, and we’ll contact you with the results as soon as the selection process is finished.
3. Confirmation
After receiving our confirmation, please contact your institution’s International Relations Office for funding and next steps.
The summer school is free of charge. The school is implemented in Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) mode. Funding is provided by sending institution for traveling and accommodation costs. Housing is not provided from receiving institution.
