Sustainable Travel summer school

This year’s summer school will provide you with an in-depth look at the logistics aspect of sustainable travel. You will learn about the challenges and opportunities that arise in transporting travellers, goods, and services sustainably and will include resource management, waste reduction, and improving transportation efficiency.

During the program, you will learn about the importance of sustainable logistics in tourism, including supply chain management, goods distribution, carbon footprint reduction, renewable energy sources, and other aspects of sustainable logistics. Additionally, students will explore existing practices and solutions implemented in the tourism industry and can contribute to a more sustainable logistics approach in tourism.

The summer school program will run from 28 August to 5 September, featuring workshops, discussions, site visits, and opportunities to interact with experts in sustainable logistics in tourism.

We welcome students from all academic backgrounds interested in logistics and sustainable travel to join us for this unique opportunity.
