Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin will celebrate its 80th anniversary with a special gathering of all ATHENA European University partners. The event will also mark the announcement of a new phase for the ATHENA consortium, emphasizing consolidation of the collaboration.
The ATHENA Executive Board, comprising rectors from all partner universities, will meet to discuss future strategies, including the signing of a new Consortium agreement, reflecting the new governance principles, and the restructuring of task forces.
In a key leadership transition, the University of Maribor will assume the presidency of ATHENA, with Rector prof. Zdravko Kačič leading the consortium into this new phase. Stay tuned for more updates following the event!
