The Mediterranean Institute of Fundamental Physics (MIFP) organizes the 7th International Conference on Physics of Two-Dimensional Crystals (ICP2DC), which takes place in Maritim Hotel Plaza Tirana, Albania from the 18th to the 22nd of September 2023.
ICP2DC7, 2023 is a comprehensive event encompassing a wide spectrum of topics, spanning from fundamental physics to the practical applications of emerging two-dimensional crystals and crystal structures. The conference will serve as a platform for researchers and experts to share their insights and findings on the following topics:
- 2D materials and heterostructures: structural and physical properties.
- 2D materials-based electronics.
- 2D materials and metamaterials. Supported 2D materials.
- 2D materials-based electromagnetic devices. Terahertz and 2D crystals.
- Monolayers for Bio and Medicine.
- CVD and other synthesis routes of 2D materials.
- 2D insulators. 2D topology.
- Quantum technologies and 2D crystals.
- Composites and 2D fillers.
During the conference, speakers from Niccolò Cusano University of Rome will host a series of ATHENA Group meetings with local institutions. The ATHENA Group meetings serve as gatherings for both ATHENA participants at the conference and local representatives from governmental and academic institutions. These meetings are designed to foster collaboration and the exploration of shared initiatives, promoting ATHENA for potential future partnerships.
